How Polymaker discounts stack
Polymaker prices filament with volume breaks that apply automatically, and a promotional code generally applies on top of the volume price. That makes a bulk order with a code the cheapest route by a wide margin over single spools, and the gap is large enough that it changes how you should buy — filling a case is materially cheaper per spool than buying two. Codes do not combine with each other, and one applies per order. Shipping thresholds interact with the volume breaks and are worth checking together.
What Polymaker codes don't cover
Newly released filament lines are usually excluded from sitewide codes for an introductory period. Sample and trial packs are frequently excluded, as are accessories bundled at a promotional price. Shipping is outside the discount and matters here more than in most categories because filament is heavy — a code that saves a percentage on the material can be entirely consumed by the shipping on a small order.
When Polymaker actually discounts
Filament discounting clusters around Black Friday and around new material launches, when the previous formulation is cleared. There is also a reliable pattern of deeper discounting on colours being discontinued, which is worth watching if the exact shade does not matter to you — a discontinued colour in the right material is usually the cheapest good filament available at any given moment.
Sitewide or per-listing?
Sitewide codes across the catalogue, subject to the new-release exclusions. Because filament is a commodity within a given specification, the code is doing straightforward work here rather than being conditioned into irrelevance, which makes Polymaker codes more genuinely useful than most on this site.
Is a code the best discount at Polymaker?
Codes are worth using, but the volume break does more. The trap is buying a very large quantity to clear a spend threshold without dry storage — filament absorbs moisture and degrades, so material you cannot store properly is money spent rather than saved. Buy to the quantity you will use within a few months, apply a code on top, and ignore the threshold that would push you past it.
